Innovative Integrated Software And Web
Most agencies build for clients and nothing else. We do both — which means the advice you get comes from people who have already made the expensive mistakes with their own money.

Our story
IISAW started the way most useful software does: with a business that could not buy what it needed. The available products either did 40% of the job for a fortune or 90% of it in a way that would have meant changing how the business worked to suit the software.
So we built it. Then somebody else asked for something similar, and then somebody asked for something completely different, and at some point the pattern became obvious — small and mid-sized companies are full of processes that would be transformed by a few thousand pounds of well-aimed software, and almost nobody is offering that. The market is full of enterprise consultancies with enterprise prices and template-shop web designers who cannot build a system.
We sit in the gap. We are small enough that the person who scopes your project is the person who builds it, and experienced enough to have built multi-tenant SaaS platforms, payment integrations, real-time desktop software and hardware controllers — so we are not learning on your budget.
Along the way we built products of our own, because it is the only honest way to understand what happens to software after launch. Nine of them are live today, taking real payments from real customers on infrastructure we maintain ourselves. Every one of them taught us something we now apply to client work for free.
The name
Five words that between them cover exactly what we do and nothing we do not.
Not novelty for its own sake — solving the problem in a way nobody had bothered to try, because the obvious approach was expensive or dull.
Software that talks to the rest of your business. Very little value is created by another system that stands on its own and needs feeding by hand.
Applications, platforms, desktop tools and the automations behind them. The engineering half of what we do.
The word that matters most. Design and build. Build and host. Host and support. One team across the whole life of the thing.
Websites, ecommerce and everything customer-facing — built to be found, to load fast and to turn visitors into enquiries.
How we behave
We publish price bands, we quote fixed numbers, and if your idea is not worth the money we say so before you spend it. It costs us the occasional project and wins us the clients who stay for years.
We do have to run it. Nine of the platforms in our portfolio are our own products, hosted on our own infrastructure. Every shortcut we take, we pay for at 2am — so we take fewer of them.
No account managers relaying half-understood requirements. You talk to the person writing the code, which is why decisions take minutes instead of a fortnight.
Readable code, real documentation, a repository you own. If you take it in-house or move to another supplier, that should be a decision — not an ordeal.

Capability
Not a list of everything we have heard of — this is the technology we use in production, on systems that are live right now.
